Delhi High Court has declined to send actor Rajpal Yadav to jail for now in a cheque bounce case, as he made substantial payments, according to Live Law. Justice Swarana Kanta Sharma continued the suspension of his sentence because he is complying with the court process.
In a new development the court refused a request from the complainant to cancel the actor’s bail.
The Court cited significant payments made, stating that the actor is not trying to flee, says The Hindu and Bar and Bench.
Next Step: The court will hear the main petition on its merits.
