Popular thriller CID brought immense fame to its cast, but several actors have since moved away from showbiz to pursue business ventures or academia, though the industry mourned the loss of one iconic member in Dinesh Phadnis who played Inspector Fredericks as Freddy at 55.
Actors Who Left Showbiz for Business & Academics:
*Viivek Mashru (Inspector Vivek): After leaving the show in 2012, Mashru transitioned into academics and business. He worked as a professor and led a department at a university in Bengaluru, later becoming a strategy specialist in marketing.
*Shraddha Musale (Dr. Tarika): While continuing some acting projects, she ventured into entrepreneurship and is the founder of an EdTech startup called FutureTayari.
