Tanvi Hegde, child actress who played the iconic role of Fruity in the 2000s hit show Son Pari, has undergone a massive transformation 26 years later. As of April 2026, the 34-year-old has stepped away from mainstream acting to focus on her personal life and passions.
Tanvi stepped away from the spotlight in 2021, with her last known appearance in a Marathi film called “Alipit”. She went on to state that she wanted to experience the childhood and college life she missed while working on sets, having joined Son Pari at just nine years old.
Tanvi has now embraced a new, quieter life focused on gaming, travel, and reading. She is reportedly into motorsports, football, and is a fan of BTS, often sharing that she is “reclaiming her lost childhood.
Before Son Pari (2000-2006), she was a renowned child artist, appearing in over 150 advertisements (including the famous Rasna ad) and movies like Champion and Pitaah.
In 2025, she briefly launched a YouTube channel to reflect on her journey, but stopped after only four videos. Though, she has left acting to enjoy personal freedom, her transformation from a bubbly child artist to a “gamer girl” has garnered significant attention, though there are no verified reports detailing her earning “crores” through gaming.
