Following Punjab Kings’ (PBKS) heartbreaking exit from the IPL 2026 season, co-owner Preity Zinta shared an emotional note on social media.
Reflecting on the campaign’s dramatic momentum shifts, she called it a “rollercoaster ride,” expressing deep gratitude to fans for their unwavering support from the highest of highs to the lowest of lows.
After a blazing start that saw PBKS win their first six matches and dominate the top of the points table, the team suffered a rough mid-season collapse and finished in fifth place, missing the playoffs by a single point.
Taking to her X (formerly Twitter) and Instagram accounts, she penned a heartfelt message:
“A big thank you to all the supporters of PBKS for standing strong with us all through the rollercoaster ride of IPL 2026. From the highs to the lows & everything in between…. felt more wholesome with all of your love
Till we meet again, all my love & best wishes.
