Delhi CM Rekha Gupta ends staggered office timings for employees

Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta ordered a rollback of the 2-day work from home (WFH) policy and staggered office timings for government employees. The austerity measures were withdrawn following the easing of geopolitical tensions in West Asia and the normalization of oil supply routes.

Introduced in May, government employees had previously been required to work from home two days a week (specifically Wednesday and Saturday) with staggered hours to conserve energy.

Government employees will now resume standard office timings of 10:00 AM to 6:30 PM.
The Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD) staff will continue with their unaffected regular schedule, which remains 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM.
