Snabbit’ Housekeeping Worker caught stealing Gold Mangalsutra

In a swift and efficient operation, the Rabodi Police traced and recovered a stolen gold mangalsutra worth approximately ₹3.5 lakh within one hour after it allegedly went missing from a residence in Thane.

According to police, complainant Anuja Ajit Sawant, 58-year old resident of Runwal Nagar, Kolbad Road, Thane, reported that her 2.5-tola gold mangalsutra had gone missing after she had kept it in her bedroom.
Amidst the inquiry, it was revealed that the complainant had booked a house-cleaning service through the Snabbit App. A woman assigned through the app had visited the residence for the cleaning job.

Using the details available on the app, Rabodi Police traced the housekeeping worker and brought her in for questioning. In the midst of the interrogation, she allegedly confessed to stealing the mangalsutra and voluntarily handed over the stolen jewellery to the police.

However, considering the young age and future of the accused woman, the complainant declined to file a formal police complaint against her.
