Supriya clarified that the interaction focused exclusively on public grievances because parliamentary proceedings were stalled, denying any political negotiations or alignment discussions. The delegation submitted memoranda on acute regional hurdles, including persistent drought mitigation, irrigation hurdles, onion pricing instability, river pollution, and pending infrastructure developments across local constituencies. Accompanying MPs also highlighted specific regional appeals, such as naming the new Navi Mumbai airport after DB Patil and advocating for national honors for prominent social reformers.
