Telugu cinema superstar Nagarjuna Akkineni shared warm birthday wishes for Prime Minister Narendra Modi ahead of his 75th birthday while remembering a special interaction with him that dates back to 2014. In a video shared on Instagram, Nagarjuna recalled travelling to Gandhinagar, Gujarat, to meet Modi and described the experience as a memorable moment that remained with him for years. The actor said he had followed and admired the development work taking place in Gujarat and felt honoured to have the opportunity to meet Modi personally.

Nagarjuna also spoke about Modi’s sharp memory, humility and friendly nature, recalling small details from their interaction that made a lasting impression on him. He shared an incident involving children who were present despite security restrictions and remembered Modi noticing his interaction with them.

According to Nagarjuna’s recollection, Modi encouraged him to remain grounded, humble and connected with ordinary people advice that the actor continued to remember. Nagarjuna also recalled another emotional moment for the Akkineni family when Modi later mentioned his father, legendary Telugu cinema icon Akkineni Nageswara Rao (ANR), during an episode of Mann Ki Baat.
