Sharply reacting to speculations over his retirement, Amitabh Bachchan clarified that his ambiguous remark about wanting to “retire” simply meant he was going to sleep rather than quitting work. The 83-year-old megastar dismissed the speculation on his blog and continues to host the 18th season of Kaun Banega Crorepati.
Taking to his blog the Senior Bachchan wrote that he wanted to retire because the night was calling, which worried fans. He explained that “retire” meant heading to bed after a long shift. He remains active on set and hosts Kaun Banega Crorepati.
