Legendary actress Sharmila Tagore shared a funny memory from shooting Yash Chopra’s directorial 1965 released film Waqt. Director Yash Chopra assumed she knew how to drive, so he lined up a car scene with her co-star Shashi Kapoor sitting in the passenger seat.
Since she did not know how to drive at the time, the crew had to fake the sequence using clever camera angles and a dummy setup.
Shashi Kapoor reportedly grew quite nervous amidst the setup and humorously reminded her to keep his family in mind before crashing the vehicle, joking,
“You know I have three children, be careful”.
