Filmmaker Boney Kapoor takes a dig at actors on their commitments at Kapil Sharma Show
At the recent Kapil Sharma Show as part of promotion for film “Mili”, renowned filmmaker Boney Kapoor-“Mr.India” fame took a dig at actors who commit only ’25 days’ shoot for a film, but they take full contracted payment.
The thought process is ‘dishonest’. His daughterJhanvi heroine of “Mili” had accompanied him.
In his chat with host of the laughter show Kapil Sharma, the filmmaker, husband of late legendary actor Sridevi, Boney Kapoor quoted that actors shoot film as per their own convenience without any thought on the level of commitment different films need. However he refrained from naming anyone to avoid unpleasantness and or controversy.
But candidly put it that films cannot be successful if the thought process, ‘from the initial moment’, is dishonest.
As Boney Kapoor continued his chat, Janhvi sat beside him in silence. He added, “The actor’s entire set up is based on convenience. The heroine must be available, the director must be available. How will the film turn out any good.
