In the long history of Bollywood, the movie buffs have witnessed dozens of love affairs that hit the headlines created controversies.
But that one love affair which shocked and rocked the Industry was of Shatrughan Sinha and Reena Roy. He ruled the industry in the 70s and 80s.
The actor took the industry by storm when he caught the spark for his relationship with Reena Roy. The affair turned extremely controversial for the very reason that he abandoned Reena to settle down with wife Poonam Sinha.
Notably, Shatrughan Sinha embraced politics and was recognised for his candid remarks. He was 11 years older to the 19 year old Reena Roy. when he first met her.
It was amid the shoot of Kailcharan, the love birds got close and turned good friends
Notwithstanding the fact that Shatrughan Sinha continued to be friendly with her, however, Reena couldn’t stop herself from falling in love with the charisma of the actor and so a blaze of love engulfed the twosome.
No sooner, the raging blaze between the two caught the eye of the public and when her mother got a whiff of it, she warned her she is going to pay for it. But that didn’t impact her. She ignored her mother.

Shatrughan had met Poonam on a flight and instantly fell in love with her. This Reena never ever imagined in her wildest dream. Though he married Poonam, he never gave up his relationship with Reena….
At one point of time, Reena was done with being Shatrughan’s second choice. She asked him for commitments but he denied it straightly and that made them drift apart.
Soon after break up with Shatrughan, Reena announced her marriage with Pakistani cricketer, Mohsin Khan. Both the bride and the groom were at the peak of their respective careers when they tied the knot. The nuptials took place in Karachi, Pakistan.
