Uddhav Thackeray- Maharashtra Cabinet clears free Covid vaccines
In a major decision, the Uddhav Thackeray led MVA Govt cleared free Covid Vaccines in the age group 18-44 years. This will be a major relief to the people of Maharashtra.
Health Minister Mr Rajesh Tope said , ” Though we have the infrastructure to inject vaccines, there is a shortage of vaccines. The CM Uddhav Thackeray is talking to Vaccine companies and hopefully the stocks will be managed.
Maharashtra has 5.71 crore people in the 18-44 years range and arrangement of around 12 crore vaccine doses have to be arranged. The 2nd wave of corona virus has got Maharashtra one of the most affected.
Minister for Housing in a tweet applauded the decision taken by Uddhav Thackeray Govt, saying . “This revolutionary decision of the MVA Govt will surely help in controlling Covid in the state, We care for our people”
