The artist is the 4th most streamed artist on Spotify. His song “Lucid Dream” streamed more than 1.5 billion times on Spotify.
Jarad Anthony Higgins, also known as JuiceWRLD was a young American rapper, singer, and songwriter who succumbed to overdosing on December 8th, 2019.
He left the world shocked by having his songs streamed more than a billion times on Spotify, he was a truly talented rapper/freestyler, as he got the rap god “Eminem” to say that he has nothing but talent at such a young age.
Jarad was so into music that even after getting recognition from the world, he never stopped, in-fact he went on to make about 6 songs (unreleased) almost every day and is bringing joy to all his fans even after his death as he has got about a total of 3000 unreleased songs.
His Backstory
JuiceWRLD hails from a broken family – worked in a factory, was fired within 2 weeks. To break into the music industry, he would record songs and post them onto Soundcloud.
Jarad broke records with his song ‘Lucid Dreams’, which stood second in the Billboards. He was also awarded the Top New Artist for the year 2019 in Billboards, his album “Death Race for Love” was awarded the best hip-hop album for 2019. In addition to that, he was also awarded the ‘Favourite Male Artist’ award in rap and hip hop.
His untimely death
On a tip of drugs and guns on board, the private jet he was traveling in was raided by law enforcement agencies. Jarad popped about 7-8 Unkown pills, which caused his overdose. Officials found 32kgs of marijuana and about 3 handguns in the jet.
We lost a great, talented artist at such a young age.
