DCP Narcotics Datta Nalawade: ANC Ghatkopar seizes MD Drugs worth Rs 52 lakhs from Jogeshwari , one arrested, remanded to police custody till 2/8/21.
On tip off Sr Police Officer Mr Sanjay Chavan, who has additional charge of Ghatkopar Unit of the ANC- Anti Narcotics Cell, with his team, laid a trap around Royal court Bld, S V Road, Jogeshwari west. A person was moving in a suspicious manner, when intercepted , 260 grams of MD- Mephedrone was recovered from him.

The accused named Junaid Qureshi has been dealing in drugs for long time. Police officer Sachin Palwe is the complainent. Case has been registered 67/2021 and the accused is in Police custody till the 2nd of August-2021
