Sameer Wankhede: NCB seizes MD, Charas, Ephedrine- arrests 7 including 2 wanted criminals in multiple operations
In accordance with its ongoing zero tolerance policy against drug trafficking in Mumbai & Pune, teams of NCB Mumbai launched operations and registered 02 cases on 14.09.2021. During these operations, total 2.112 Kgs of Mephedrone, 3.9 Kgs of Ephedrine & 45 grams of Charas and intercepted 07 persons including two wanted criminals.
OPS-I:
On the basis of intelligence developed, NCB Mumbai raided the house of Sahil Hamid Mulla Aji at Kausa, Mumbra and recovered 1.75 Kg of Mephedrone, 3.9 Kg of Ephedrine and intercepted Sahil Hamid Mulla Aji and Ibrahim Ismail Jhangir on 14.09.2021. The receiver of the Mephedrone namely Irfan Parmar of Gujarat was also intercepted on the spot and recovered 300 grams of Mephedrone from his personal search. He was supplying Mephedrone to affluent clients in Morbi, Gujrat.
On the preliminary interrogation, a team of NCB Mumbai intercepted the main conspirator of the case namely Nadeem Shaikh at Kharadi, Pune along with 45 grams of Charas on 14.09.2021.
NCB Mumbai registered the case in Crime No 88/2021. Further investigation is going on.
Ops – II:
On specific information, a team of NCB Mumbai launches an operation near Kasba Restaurant, Goregaon, Mumbai and seized a total 62 grams of Mephedrone and intercepted one person namely Rehan Shaikh on 14.09.2021.
Rehan Shaikh was local seller & consumer of the Mephedrone. He was involved in drug peddling from past 4 to 5 years.
NCB Mumbai registered the case in Crime No 87/2021. Further investigation is going on.
OPS-III:
NCB MUMBAI LAUNCHES SPECIAL DRIVE FOR INTERCEPTING WANTED PERSONS
On the basis of intelligence developed by Mumbai Zonal Unit, a team of NCB Mumbai arrested two wanted persons namely Jay Prakash Bhat @ Jitu & Vijay Kumar Singh @ Rehan Chicken @ Monty from Andheri & Bandra (W) respectively. Both were wanted criminal in NCB Mumbai Crime No. 73/2021.
In this case, NCB Mumbai had seized a total 103.8 grams of Mephedrone (Commercial Quantity) on 28.07.2021 and arrested the 03 persons including 01 lady.
It is pertaining to mentioned that NCB, Mumbai has arrested 04 wanted Criminals in this Special Drive.
