Diva Thane based Bank Security Guard held for firing in the air from his gun

The accused, resident of Diva township, allegedly fired a couple of shots from his gun at around 8 pm on Monday

In a bizzare crime a 66 year old Thane bank security guard has been nabbed for firing in air on the occasion of Diwali.

According to Police reports, the Diva Township based accused, allegedly fired a couple of shots from his gun on night of Diwali.

Following the firing incident some people took to their social media account and posted about it after which police conducted an inquiry and arrested the security guard on Wednesday.

A case was registered against the accused under relevant provisions of the IPCode and the Arms Act.
