After “Singham” and “Singham Returns”, Rohit Shetty, even though his latest Cirkus with Ranveer Singh proved a debacle , and believing in
‘show must go on’ has begun work on “Singham Again” with Ajay Devgn and Deepika Padukone too will be a part of “Singham Again”. This will be for the first time Ajay will share screen space with Deepika Padukone.
Taking to his Instgram handle Ajay wrote “Made a good start to the New Year with Rohit Shetty’s narration of “Singham Again”. The script is fire. God willing this will be the 11th blockbuster with director Rohit Shetty.
Reacting to Ajay’s post, director Rohit Shetty commented
“Ab tak Imaandaari aur Mehnat ke saath kaam kiya hai… is baar andar Aag bhi hai”.
Amid the promotions of his latest directorial Cirkus, Rohit further confirmed that Deepika will be taking the bad guys down in a cop avatar.
The film reportedly will go on the floors in mid-2023.
Reportedly, in Akshay Kumar’s Sooryavanshi, Ajay had hinted about ‘Singham’ third instalment of the third installment that Jackie Shroff will be essaying a negative role.
“Singham” starring Kajal Aggarwal and Prakash Raj in lead roles was released in 2011, while “Singham Returns” in 2014. Both the projects turned out to be box office hits.
