Notably, a US-based scribe has credited Shah Rukh Khan as India’s Tom Cruise.

For those unversed, Aditya Chopra had told Shah Rukh that he plans to do an action film with him. But, it took Aditya 30 years to make this high octane action thriller with Shah Rukh Khan. Infact SRK had earlier worked with the late Yash Chopra in DDLJ and now with Aditya. This is for the first time that YRF has produced an action film. Yash Chopra has always been making romantic films and his favourite to shoot was the Swiss Alps in Switzerland. He believed in exotic foreign locales.
