Actress Divya Dutta perceives more recognition for Short Films
Actress Divya Dutta, ‘Badlapur’, ‘Veer-Zara’ fame and several other films, perceives that the audience doesn’t give the
notability to short films.
As per Divya some short films, catering to today’s current societal problems, should be made and watched too.
Recently, the actress was spotted at the special screening of a short film ‘Birha: The Journey Back Home’ in Mumbai.
While speaking on the film, Divya pointed out that as audience we don’t give significance to short films adding that whenever this film is released, people should watch it. It is an exceptionally made film and the enactment
are remarkable.
Divya further added that in today’s scenario when the relationships are getting diluted, such films should be definitely made and watched also. It projects on how you should value your relations, especially with your parents.
On her future projects, she said, Divya’s three big shows and two films are on the release front. Currently, she is working on two more projects. By the end of this year, she would be having 5-6 releases. The genres of the projects are very different, there is action, drama and thriller.
‘Birha: The Journey Back Home’ also features Rajit Kapur, Manav Vij and Sahil Mehta.
The Puneet Prakash directorial is a punjabi short film highlighting the plight of a family getting devastated by unjustified ambitions of a young child who is lured by the West.
