In the midst of the Anil Sharma directorial Amid Gadar 2 Chaos, filmmaler Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra spilt the beans on the sequel of Rang De Basanti.

Anil Sharma directorial Gadar 2 has been headlining ever since announcement. Couple of days ago, the official trailer of the film was dropped online and there were mixed reviews from netizens. The film features Sunny Deol and Ameesha Patel in the lead roles reprising their characters.

In the backdrop of the trend of sequels of the yesteryear movies, the Rakeysh Omprakash director has spilt the beans on the same.

Featuring Aamir Khan, Siddharth, Soha Ali Khan, Sharma Joshi, Kunal Kapoor, R Madhavan, Waheeda Rehmaan and Atul Kulkarni among others, the 2006 release was a box office hit.

In a recent interview, the veteran filmmaker Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra when asked on Rang De Basanti’s sequel he turned down every possibility and compared it to films like James Bond and Mission Impossible, adding that there are only certain kinds of movies which demand a sequel.
