Amitabh Bachchan impressed with Gauri Khan designed Shah Khan’s Vanity Waits for her to design his Vanity Van

Earlier this week, the 15th season of Kaun Banega Crorepati was launched with Amitabh Bachchan back as the host.

On Wednesday, the dynamic host accorded a to a contestant Kapil Dev on the hot seat.

Amid his interaction with him, the Senior Bachchan not only discussed his bearded look, but also shared an interesting anecdote Shah Rukh Khan and his wife Gauri Khan.

A question put to Kapil was as to whose wife is the author of the book “My Life in Design”. The contestant was given the options as – Sachin Tendulkar, Shah Rukh Khan, Akshay Kumar and Chetan Bhagat. He picked the correct one. As Amitabh lauded him for his quick response, he spoke about Gauri‘s Khan’s new book and shared that it chronicles her journey as a designer, and also has many exclusive photos of her family.

Subsequently, he shared of his recent shoot with SRK, and was quite impressed by his vanity van, terming it very beautiful. Bachchan shared that it had a TV, chairs, sliding doors, space for make up and even a bathroom. Shah Rukh told him that it has been designed by his wife Gauri. He even said that he would ask her to design one for him adding with a laugh, but, alas she is yet to come and design. Waiting.
