Bombay HC permits BJP leader Kirit Somaiya to withdraw petition filed in defamation case against him
The petition reportedly, was filed by Kirit Somaiya against a defamation proceeding initiated against him by the National Spot Exchange Limited (NSEL).
According to Justice Sarang Kotwal, the counsel for the petitioner states that he has directly approached this court.
He further stated that liberty may be granted to the petitioner to approach the court by filing a revision application to challenge the order of issuance of process.
