Undoubtedly, Shweta Tiwari is a triumphant name in showbiz. The actress has been a part of several popular television shows as the female lead and enjoys great fame.
However, in the midst of her But professional highs, there have also been some personal lows as well.
It is Shweta’s daughter Palak Tiwari who spilled the beans over her interview the media as to how her mother didn’t have it easy. She asserted that when she started out, she used to live in a chawl-like one-bedroom space. Her grandfather,her grandmother and her mama, and her mom used to live there, which was just one bedroom, and from that’s where her mom’s journey to the entertainment industry
kicked-off.
It was Shweta’s triumphant career in television that transformed her luck. She emerged a household name with Ekta Kapoor and Balaji Telefulms “Kasautii Zindagii Kay” in which she essayed the role of Prerna Sharma. In Bigg Boss, she became the first female winner of the series.
Moreover, her stint in shows like Parvarrish, Begusarai and Mere Dad Ki Dulhan was loved by the audiences.
Svweta’s marriage with Raja Choudhary proved a failure.
After she married actor Raja Choudhary in 1998, two years later, they had their first child, Palak.
Even as Shweta’s career took off, things went south on the personal front. Shweta accused Raja of domestic violence and they separated in 2007.
If it wasn’t enough, she faced trouble in second marriage with Abhinav Kohli. Things smooth until they had their first baby together. Their son Reyansh was born in 2016. Right after, trouble in her second marriage became public.
Fighting a public battle
In 2019, Shweta fought a public battle by filing a police complaint against her husband, accusing him of harassment. Palak stood by her mother’s side as Abhinav made their private chats public. He later accused Shweta of keeping their son Reyansh away from him.
Shweta termed Abhinav a poisonous wound. It was in the midst of promoting her show Mere Dad Ki Dulhan in 2019, Shweta never paused from addressing her marital discord. Speaking with a media persona she revealed that she was going through a difficult time but now she is in a joyous space after going through severe pain due to an infection and later got operated.
Over winning Reyansh’s custody
Shweta felt relieved that fter battling she won her son’s custody from Abhinav.This was what she wanted and she feels honestly satisfied with the judgement.
Abhinav would follow her everywhere she went in the last two years. Abhinav alleged that she had kidnapped Reyansh and kept him away from him, when she has the proof that in all cases, he was aware of Reyansh’s whereabouts all the time. Even during the Khatron Ke Khiladi shoot, he tried to create yet another scene despite being fully aware of Reyansh’s stay.
Going glam after weight loss
Prior to participating in Khatron Ke Khiladi 11 in 2021, Shweta took fitness even more seriously, and shed several kilos. She also did glam photoshoots that left her industry fans in awe. Even her fans tell her often in the comments section how she is getting younger by the day.
