Mumbai to receive rains in September lasting for a week

There has been no significant rain in the past few days. The month of August has been a below-normal month for the city. In fact, even in July, rainfall activity was only seen during the last few days of the month.

But. after a very long time, the Mumbai will witness some rainfall activities for about a week or so starting from September 7th. There may be heavy rains 8th and 9th September. The week long rainy spell is expected to continue until the 13th.

This is due to the system forming in the Bay of Bengal which will move inland and as it comes over central parts, the Monsoon stream will pick up, the surge will be activated and thus, rains will enhance over Mumbai.
