South Cinema professionals criticise National Film Awards
The National Film Awards
announced recently knew no bounds of joy and happiness to the Telugu cinema professionals
For the likes of Allu Arjun,
MM Keeravani, Chandrabose, and Prem Rakshit and for the team of RRR, and Uppena among others it came as a moment of immense pride.
However, for the Tamil Film industry professionals the and audience it was a categorical discontment as quality films like Jai Bhim, Karnan, and Sarpatta Parambarai were sidelined. Over the past few days, industry insiders and film lovers have expressed their
forlornness.
Actor Vishal made an open lash out at the National Awards jury and selection committee for ignoring Tamil cinema this year. Vishal’s comments on awards came in response to a question over the National Awards.
He asserted that he doesn’t don’t trust them at all. The biggest award is given by all the people to the performance of the artists after watching the film. An honest award comes from the verdict of the audience.
But, with blessings of the audience, he has been able to sustain his career in the film industry for many years, which he believes is a significant award for him. Even if he gets honoured with an award for his performance in a film, he would throw them in the garbage bin.
