It’s a well-known fact as of now that the controversial Queen of Bollywood, Kangana Ranaut, who features in Tejas due for release this week has come down heavily on Bollywood and cricket stars for befriending people from ‘enemy’ countries Pakistan and China.

Not just this, she has also proposed for introduction of mandatory military service in India after graduation.

Sans naming anyone, Kangana stressed how it can impact on the morale of Indian soldiers when Indian celebrities extend support to artists from stated neighbouring countries.

In the midst of her conversation with a news channel, Kangana asserts that our soldiers ask when Bollywood is showcasing its love for the artists of China and Pakistan, cricketers are hugging them, then is she the only one who thinks of them as enemies? Is the animosity between the two countries only for her? This is why she has ventured into the production of film Tejas. It spotlights the feelings of a soldier feels when people of the country talk behind his back while he is fighting at the border staking his precious life.

Kangana also argued that if mandatory military service is introduced it would instill discipline and get rid of lazy people.

The Manikarnika actress added that It will inculcate discipline in them.

On the work front, Kangana was last seen in P.Vasu directorial ‘Chandramukhi 2’ alongside Raghava Lawrence. The Tamil horror comedy flickportrays Kangana as a dancer in the king’s court known for her beauty and dancing prowess, while Raghava takes on the role of King Vettaiyan Raja.

She also has ‘Emergency’ in her kitty. The film features Kangana as former Indian Prime Minister Indira Gandhi, scheduled for November 2023 release.
The film also features Anupam Kher, Shreyas Talpade, Vishak Nair, Bhumika Chawla, Mahima Chaudhary, Milind Soman, and Satish Kaushik.
