Former Pakistan cricketer Shahid Afridi revealed to the media that his loving sister has moved to immortality after battling for survival in an hospital.
Reportedly, her health condition even prompted the retired cricketer to change his travel plans. After knowing about her deteriorating health condition while Afridi returned to see her at the hospital, she was no more.
On social media, Afridi also announced where and when will his sister’s funeral taking place.
He added that he and his family belong to Allah and to him we shall return. Her Namaz e Janazah was held on 17.10.2023 after Zuhur prayer at Zakariya masjid main 26th street Khayaban e Ghalib DHA,” Afridi wrote on X (formerly Twitter).
Earlier, the Pakistan cricket great had posted that he is travelling back to see his loving sister soon and to stay strong. He even requested one and all to make Duas for her health which will mean a lot.
May Allah give her speedy recovery and a long healthy life Ya Rabb.”
Many fans took to social media to offer their condolences to the cricketer following the tragedy.
