French Prez Emmanuel Macron announces facilities for Indian Students to study in France
Notably, French President Emmanuel Macron, chief guest at this year’s Republic Day parade, announced measures to ensure that more Indian students study in France adding that France has an ambitious target of having over 30,000 students by 2030.
In his post on X (twitter) he said that while it is a very ambitious target, however, he is determined to make it happen.
Elaborating on how France will aid the students, Macron affirmed that international classes would be set up allowing students who do not speak French to study in universities in France.
The French President went in to add that they are developing the network of Alliances francaises, with new centers to learn French and are also creating international classes allowing students, who do not necessarily speak French, to join their universities.
He further added that last but not least, they will facilitate the visa process for any former Indian students who studied in France.
