News comes to the fore that Maryam Raza, cabin crew member of Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) jetted-off to Canada and never board the return flight.

A note that she has left behind a note which read “thanking PIA”. This note was found in the Hotel room in Toronto in Canada.
Notedly, Maryan Raza is one of the several PIA staffers who have sought asylum in Canada in recent years.

Reportedly, each year on an average, five Pakistani flight attendants vanish to Canada.

An appreciation note, like this, is what a flight attendant would expect to find from a flyer after a nice and cosy flight.

However, the note saying, ‘Thank you, PIA’, was actually written by an air hostess, and not a satisfied flyer.

The note was from Maryam Raza, who worked with the PIA and had landed in Toronto on a flight from Islamabad on Monday (February 26) but never reported for duty on her return flight to Karachi a day later.
