While our soldiers are freezing in Kalwan Valley, Hon’ble Sonam Wangchuk, Indian Engineer has
provided them with Solar Military Tents which is a rare gesture. Obeisance goes to the Hon’ble Sonam Wangchuk,
According to Sonam, when the temperature outside is -14 degree Celsius, the temperature inside these tents where our soldiers reside is
+15 degree Celsius. All eco friendly..!
It has no fumes or pollution from kerosene. The weight is also very light at just 30 kg. Can be folded and carried anywhere.
And above all, this is “Made in India”.

Wangchuk, besides an Engineer,
is a Ladakh activist, who inspired the lead character in the film ‘3 Idiots’. He was on a five-day climate fast from January 26-30, to demonstrate the “power of the sun” and “sustainable carbon neutral technologies”.
