Janhvi Kapoor hosts princess-themed slumber party for Radhika Merchant

Janhvi Kapoor just shared pictures from a slumber party-themed party she threw Radhika Merchant. For the party, Kapoor seems to have taken a leaf from Lily’s book.

For those unversed, Lily (Heather Matarazzo) plays Princess Mia’s (Anne Hathaway) best friend in the Princess Diaries movie franchise and throws Mia a slumber party-themed bridal shower.

Janhvi’s party, by a look at the pictures, suggests that the party also featured a mattress slide, like in the movie.

Guests at the party wore pink satin night suits with little tiaras, while the Merchant wore a white satin night suit with a crown. Sharing pictures, Kapoor wrote, “A Princess Diaries Royal slumber party for the most special bride.”

Merchant’s to-be-groom Anant Ambani and Kapoor’s rumoured boyfriend surprised the girls by making an appearance.

All eyes were on the Ambani family, who recently hosted a pre-wedding gala for their son Anant Ambani and his fiance Radhika Merchant.

The celebrations that spanned three days witnessed guests from the world over come to Jamnagar in Gujarat. Guests included Bill Gates, Mark Zuckerberg, Ivanka Trump and all major Bollywood stars like Shah Rukh Khan, Aamir Khan, and Ranbir Kapoor among others.

On the work front, Janhvi Kapoor will be seen in
Mr and Mrs Mahi, which also features Rajkummar Rao.
She will also be seen in Ulajh alongside Roshan Mathew and Gulshan Devaiah.
