In this period drama, Felton will star alongside Pratik Gandhi, who takes on the titular role of Mahatma Gandhi. According to reports from Deadline, Felton will portray Josiah Oldfield, Gandhi’s close friend during his time studying law in London. Additionally, Bhamini Oza has been cast as Kasturba Gandhi, the Mahatma’s wife.
Embodied as India’s equivalent to ‘The Crown,’ the series ensures to offer a compelling portrayal of Gandhi’s early years, with several key scenes being filmed in London.
Joining Felton in the international ensemble are acclaimed British actors including James Murray, Jonno Davies, Molly Wright, Simon Lennon, Ralph Adeniyi, Libby Mai, and Lindon Alexander.
