Pan-Indian superstar Prabhas is gearing up to mesmerise audiences with Kalki 2898 AD, a unique blend of mythology and sci-fi directed by Nag Ashwin. The film marks the Tollywood debut of Bollywood star Deepika Padukone.
Deepika Padukone’s lack of participation in the film’s online promotions has disappointed the fans of Prabhas.
Regardless the team’s extensive promotional efforts, she has remained noticeably silent. The soon-to-be mother did not share anything over the recently released promo of Bujji, Prabhas’ digital companion in the film.
Likewise, when the teaser was launched, it took her two days to post it on her Instagram Story. This absence of online promotion has left fans wondering on her stance.
In contrast, co-stars Disha Patani and Amitabh Bachchan, have been actively sharing updates on Kalki 2898 AD. The reason for Deepika’s silence is best known to her.
Produced on an extravagant scale by Vyjayanthi Movies, with Kamal Haasan portraying the antagonist, Kalki 2898 AD is gears up for a multi-language release on June 27, 2024. The soundtrack is composed by Santhosh Narayanan.
