Abhijeet Bhattacharya puts condition for playback for Salman Khan – no Pakistani singer will dub
In his recent media interaction, Popular Singer Abhijeet Bhattacharya revealed that he will playback for Salman Khan on a condition that he will not hire a Pakistani Singer to dub.
Notably, Abhijeet is an acclaimed playback singer having sung for many big actors like Shah Rukh Khan, Aamir Khan, Sunil Shetty, Saif Ali Khan, Sunny Deol, Govinda, Sanjay Dutt, Akshay Kumar, Ajay Devgn, Ranbir Kapoor, Bobby Deol and many others.
Amidst the interaction, Abhijeet candidly recounted over his strained bond with Salman Khan and Shah Rukh Khan. . When quizzed if he would be singing for the Tiger 3 actor, the Indian singer revealed in Hindi, “Kyun nahi gaenge? (Why won’t he sing for him?)”
Bhattacharya further shared one condition for that. He divulged, provided he doesn’t invite a Pakistani artist and dub the song.

He had also sung for Abhijeet for David Dhawan’s action-comedy film Judwaa. While the movie featured Salman Khan in the lead role, the singer sang the song
“Tan Tana Tan Tan Tara” thinking that he was singing for Govinda.
Whle sharing this anecdote with the senior singer mentioned that David Dhawan hasn’t worked with any other actor besides Govinda ever since he became a successful filmmaker. Moreover, no one had ever told him who was leading the movie. Everyone but him knew the film featured Salman Khan.
Therefore, when he was recording the song, the recordist told him ‘Aap kyun Govinda bane hue ho?’ “Those guys were also thinking why was he singing like Govinda.
Abhijeet further added, that be wasn’t aware that Salman was in the movie. But no one knew in this song because it was focussed on the dance rather than on his face. The way it was sung, the expressions and acting weren’t shown.
“Judwaa tbe 1997 box-office success film featured Salman, Karishma Kapoor, Rambha, Kader Khan, Dalip Tahil, Shakti Kapoor, Deepak Shirke, Anupam Kher, Satish Shah and Mukesh Rishi.
