Gangster Abu Salem approaches Bombay HC against prison transfer
Citing fear of attack again, gangster Abu Salem approached the Bombay High Court against prison transfer.
A bench of Justices Ajay Gadkari and Neela Gokhale will hear Abu Salem’s plea on July 3.
Earlier, the Sessions court had declined his plea of jail transfer. Salem further added that he was attacked twice in Taloja jail, and fear of attack again if transferred

Gangster Abu Salem had approached the Bombay High Court against the decision of the prison authorities to shift him out of Taloja Central Prison to the Nashik Central Prison, citing a threat to his life.
Salem,convicted and sentenced to life imprisonment in the 1993 Mumbai blast case and in the murder of builder Pradeep Jain, had approached the Mumbai Sessions court earlier, which had rejected his request.
