Woman struggles to ride escalator in a Mall-Video goes viral
Recently a video has surfaced the internet where a woman seems to be having this phobia. She is seen struggling to ride the escalator in a mall and jumps out of fear at first. Then she sits on the stairs of the escalator and holds the handle tightly, refusing to let go.
The middle aged woman, in a salwar kameez, looks visibly frightened. She keeps looking down and up, and seems to be in a panicky and anxious state of mind. Finally, when the escalator reached down, she somehow landed outside by gliding past the floor. She looks relieved after getting down from the escalator.
Escalaphobia is a common syndrome in many people, who are afraid of climbing the escalator.
