Mumbai has been experiencing heavy monsoon showers since Thursday. In 13 hours between 8 am and 9 pm, the city recorded 52.89 mm of rainfall on Friday.

Struggles for Mumbai are set to escalate further as the India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a yellow alert and predicted heavy rainfall over the city for the next two days.

In the wake of Incessant rains there has been severe waterlogging in several parts of Mumbai and many roads have been closed and traffic diverted on various routes following the waterlogging situation.

Due to waterlogging at Sheetla Cinema BEST has diverted its routes 7, 302, 303, 517, and 322 in the northbound direction and buses are diverted via Magan Nathu Ram Road and Kale Marg from Old Agra Road Kamani, then back to their regular route.
