In a rare gesture, when Rekha moved to hug Jaya Bachchan after Amitabh Bachchan was honoured with Best Actor Award for Piku at Star Screen Awards in 2015, fans were literally shocked.
The duo then watched together as Amitabh accepted the honour.
Filmmaker Subhash Ghai announced Amitabh Bachchan’s name along with Ranveer Singh for the Best Actor award. The two were seen hugging on the stage as they co-accepted the awards.
