Popular singer Arijit Singh defers UK tour on medical emergency
Bollywood’s popular singer Arijit Singh was to embark on his UK concert tour, but, citing medical emergency, deferred the concert tour to September, 2024. He tendered his humble apologises to his massive fan following for the postponement.
The tour was to kick-off on August 11. But, the singer has not mentioned the status of the medical emergency.
Meanwhile, the singer expressed his disappointment and thanked his fans for their unwavering support.
On August 1, Singh shared an Instagram note in which he announced the new dates of his UK tour. He also stated that the tickets they bought for the August tour would remain valid.
His note read, “Dear fans, it pains him to share that unforeseen medical circumstances have forced him to postpone their August concerts. He is aware how eagerly you were awaiting these shows and he is truly sorry for the disappointment. love and support are his strength.
Reportedly, Arijit Singh was supposed to script history by emerging as the first South Asian artist to perform at Manchester’s Co-op Live Arena. Now, his fans will have to wait a little longer to watch him achieve the milestone.
Meanwhile, Arijit Singh has been in the news for the court case regarding the unauthorised use of voice, image and other attributes using AI. On July 26, the court issued an interim order restraining eight platforms to stop using Singh’s attributes without consent.
