Karan Johar lauds Ananya Panday’s performance in ‘Call Me Bae’.

Karan Johar lauded Ananya Panday’s performance in ‘Call Me Bae and saying that the series is her best work.

The official trailer for the Ananya Panday starrer series, ‘Call Me Bae,’ was released on 20 August. At the trailer launch event, filmmaker Karan Johar, producer of the comedy drama, said that it was Ananya’s best performance, stating that it will define her career in the film industry.

Karan went on to add that everyone watches stories that are from rags to riches. However, ‘Call Me Bae’ is on riches to rags. It is in the tone of humour and irony, and also towards the end, in the tone of empowerment, depicted beautifully by Ananya Panday.
