When Amitabh Bachchan expressed fear of bike ride
cites ‘Muqaddar Ka Sikander’ title song shoot
Amitabh Bachchan once said he is scared of bike ride. He recalled a song shootin for the Prakash Mehra’s directorial Muqaddar Ka Sikandar’s title where his character had to lip-sync the song while riding a bike. This was in 1978.
It was amid hosting ‘Kaun Banega Crorepati’ that the Senior Bachchan shared that he is very scared of riding bikes. Even though he can ride one, he feels quiet nervous while doing so.
The KBC host said in the promo, With bikers, he gets very nervous and scary.
Amitabh Bachchan explained that he can do it all in front of the camera as he is an actor. We are actors and once the camera starts rolling, we have to act. We have to show that we can do it well.
The Senior Bachchan, barely a few years back, had spoken about his fear of bikes when John Abraham had visited the show to promote Satyameva Jayate 2. At the time, John recalled that he visited the Bachchan household on his new bike after the success of Dhoom and before Abhishek could come downstairs to meet John, Amitabh told him not to encourage Abhishek. John then laughed and shared that as soon as Abhishek joined them, Amitabh flipped the subject and said, “Wow, what a bike!”
