Actress-BJP MP, Kangana Ranaut has often been headlining for the good and bad reasons and always in the news.
Recently she revealed on having turned down Akshay Kumar’s film for ‘integrity of women’; saying ‘Please understand you also have a daughter’
As of now Kangana is busy in the promotion of her most ambitious film, ‘Emergency’ based on former PM of India Indira Gandhi and her rise to power after the death of her father and India’s first Prime Minister, Jawaharlal Nehru.
The film also features Anupam Kher, Mahima Chaudhary, Milind Soman, Shreyas Talpade, Vishak Nair and the late Satish Kaushik in pivotal roles. The film releases on September 6 a day before Ganesh Chaturthi.
Infact she never fears from keeping her opinions in front of everyone.
Coming to Akshay Kumar, she articulated that when he called her for ‘Singh Is Bliing’ she rejected it and saying that when Akshay Kumar asked her why, she said, “Please understand you also have a daughter. We want integrity for women.”
Akshay Kumar offered her ‘Singh Is Bliing’ and later more movies but Kangana did not do any of them.
She further explained that films featuring these big actors often have limited scenes for women. But Kangana isn’t interested in these things.
Kangana Ranaut also revealed that she even rejected Priyanka Chopra’s item number in Ram Leela; fans recall ‘It was offered to Aishwarya Rai Bachchan’
She also went on to reveal that though the Khans were good human beings, well behaved yet, she never did any movies with them because as per the actress, their films are prototypes wherein the heroine will have two scenes and one song. because their films are prototypes wherein the heroine will have two scenes and one song. She also went on to quote that there have been people who misbehaved with her but the Khans are not the ones who did that.
In conclusion, Kangana said that she wants to be an example of a woman who is an A-lister, the top-most actor who has not worked with Khans.
