Karan Johar relates Amitabh Bachchan the words “peace” and “power”
In the midst of his conversation on the podcast “Jaane Mann” with Jai Madaan, when he was asked about whom he relates the words “peace” and “power” without mincing words, Karan said it is Amitabh Bachchan.
While discussing on power, Karan said: “Amitabh Bachchan, has the power of his being when he enters a room and also has that power that most people will stand up and they don’t know why they are standing up.
The senior Bachchan exudes an aura beyond your understanding of what an energy or power is. That is true power. Magnetism.”
On Peace, he said a gentleman no longer in our midst us is Dada Vaswani. Karan never felt more at peace than he was with him in an encounter and had with him in front of 50,000 people and he interviewed him and had never really been moved by people in the spiritual world. But was very moved by his presence and he felt at peace.”
Karan in the podcast said last helmed Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt-starrer “Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani”, and that he is proud of his journey as a human being and he wouldn’t trade a thing to live it any differently.
He also said that he was never like the other boys – their interests, their style, their sports – it just wasn’t him
It took him years to understand that he doesn’t owe anyone an apology for being different. But embraced who he is and that’s his power
He went on to add that to this day, he had never regretted the way he has lived or the work he pursued. Everything he does is for him, unapologetically. He want to live his truth.
