Ahead of ‘Jigra’s release, actor Vedang Raina opens up on dealing with newfound fame and working with Alia Bhatt.

Vedang Raina gears up to make his theatrical debut after featuring in Zoya Akhtar’s ‘Archies.’ Even as the trailer sparked excitement and set expectations among fans, the new actor opens up on dealing with fame for the first time.

Taking about sharing screen space with Alia Bhatt, and his journey, he went on to reveal that after his debut, went on to do Jigra with Alia Bhatt. It has been an insane journey from his very first day on set and at that time around working on The Archies was a dream come true. Jigra was an even bigger dream come true for his second film to be working with the likes of Alia Bhatt and director Vasan Bala.
For Vedang It has been an immense honour and a huge privilege and feels excited for ‘Jigra” to release and for the world to see.

Elaborating on his quick-paced journey, the actor summed it up as it has been 0 to 1000 to 2000. So, he is elated and looks forward to the things that are set to happen in the future. About his newfound fame, Vedang Raina revealed that it is very new for him and still very fresh. He stated that the mere fact that he is now in the limelight, is completely new for him. Even if a single person recognises him on the streets, it feels new as he had never imagined that something like this would happen to him.

Elaborating further, Vedang said, that all these things take some getting used to. Life takes a transformation. changes. What he realised and has been his number one takeaway, is that always be yourself. Because there will be a lot of changes around given the nature of the industry.

Notably, Jigar isn’t just his theatrical debut but also his debut as a singer.
The film hits the theatres on 11 October.
