Anjala Zaveri bid adieu to acting after marriage to model-cum-actor Tarun Arora
It is observed that many of the new Bollywood actresses after working in few films get married to settle down and bid adieu to acting.
One such actress is Anjala Zaveri, who had shared screen space with Arbaaz Khan in “Pyaar Kiya To Darna Kya” and Sekhar Kammula’s directorial “Life Is Beautiful” scripted by him as well.
In Bollywood Anjala had a less successful career. Later, she migrated to the South and emerged successful in Tamil and Telugu films. As of now, she is married and her husband Tarun Arora is also a noted actor recognised for his antagonist roles in Telugu films.
Coming to Tarun again, he is acknowledged for playing Kareena Kapoor Khan’s boyfriend in
“Jab We Met”. He is also recognised
for his acting prowess in films Khaidi No 150, Katamarayudu, Jaya Janaki Nayaka, Amar Akbar Anthony, etc. He had made brief appearances in Bollywood when he played the villain roles in the film Laxmii (MLA Girija) and the television series (Brijesh Pathak).
However, he preferred to concentrate on his career down South and last acted in the film Bholaa Shankar. This film tanked at the box office.
