Ajay-Rohit’s transition into comedy genre begins with Golmaal 5
After working on Singham Again, an action film, this will be Ajay and Rohit’s transition into the comedy genre
The thumping success of “Singham Again’ prompts Ajay Devgn and Rohit Shetty to embark on transition into the comedy genre with “Golmaal 5” after action film “Singham Again’.
Rohit Shetty in a media interaction revealed that plans are afoot to revive the fifth installment of his comedy franchise Golmaal. In fact, he also gave an idea about the timeline of the movie.
When being asked if this transition from genre to another would be challenging, the Singham Again director revealed that said, he is not transiting from one world to the other on sets, but are switching from one world to the other between action and cut now you see so on set also you cannot after he’s cut the shot he cannot behave like Singham and keep walking around like Singham so he has to be normal otherwise will turn insane.
In another interview, the director revealed that he certainly needs a break from cop movies and focus on something light. Since 2008, he has been continuously working on cop films, but now really looking forward to creating comedy films…Golmaal is coming next and looks forward like whenever it’s such a big Singham after Singham. Needs to be in that world where it is lighter and happier and not worried.
Singham Again is nearing the Rs 300 crore mark at the box office, making it the most successful movie of the franchise so far.
About Golmaal franchise, the four films so far – Golmaal: Fun Unlimited, Golmaal Returns, Golmaal 3, and Golmaal Again, have all been loved and appreciated by the audience.
