Renowned actress Vidya Balan, staged a comeback with Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3, shared behind-the-scenes tales from her time working with director Priyadarshan.
Over a candid interview Vidya remembered on Bhool Bhulaiyaa’s climax scene when Priyadarshan surprised her with one simple move.
In the midst of climax shoot of Bhool Bhulaiyaa (first part), Vidya’s air was neatly done. Suddenly, Priyan walked up to her and pulled her hair down.
She went on to explain the reason behind director Priyadarshan’s action:
She added”Wait! You are very much aware that thay she is possessed; it has to be all over the place.” Vidya also shared the director’s advice for the intense scene: “Imagine that you’re an animal.”
“I followed that cue for the rest of the scene. She finds it amazing when directors give you just the right cues. They had lmuch fun. Akshay and she had a lot of fun, we get along very well,” she added.
Commenting on Priyadarshan’s directing style, Vidya articulated that there was no conversation with Priyan and we would get the scene, and he trusted them to do it. He is a man of few words.”
Vidya also reflected on her experience working with Malayalam actor Vineeth amidst Bhool Bhulaiyaa. Last time, she had to groove with Vineeth, who has been dancing since the age of four. He was incredible and Vidya had to match steps with him,l.
Notedly, she admitted to feeling relieved on
her solo performance in the third film and she felt extremely happy. Vidya quipped that she was happy and was lonely and could do whatever she wanted..
Dancing with Madhuri Dixit
Vidya also recalled her experience of dancing alongside Bollywood Diva Madhuri Dixit. Her. used to dance in front of the mirror to ‘Ek Do Teen’ and from there to dance with her was insane. But she was
was also very nervous.
Vidya initially, informed that the he would perform the dance sequence solo. However, the filmmakers Aneez Bazmee and Bhushan Kumar later suggested adding Madhuri into the scene.
Vidya admitted that though ll it wasn’t part of the original script, it was incredible but nerve-wracking.
The actress also opened up on her Kerala roots, tracing her family origins to Palakkad. Her father was from Puthur in Palakkad and left his hometown when he was 16. Her mother is from Guruvayur, so we visit the temple once in a while.
She even reflected on her visits to Kerala, saying, “Until the pandemic, we used to visit once every two years. Since then, she has travelled there once. And yes, Palakkad is her Naadu hometown and are
Tamilians from Palakkad and tamil brahmin and speak Tamil, and it has a lot of Malayalam in it. But she can understand.
She also revealed that she learnt a very important lesson from Mohanlal
