After a seven-year break she returned to television and reclaimed her place as one of the most popular TV stars. Best acknowledged for her role in Anupamaa, Rupali has been riding high on the show’s massive success, consistently topping TRP ratings since return in 2020.
Prior to her break, in 2013, Rupali wed Ashwin Verma and turned a mother. Following her marriage, she distanced from TV, with her last appearance being in Parvarrish Kuchh Khattee Kuchh Meethi.
However, her comeback to Anupamaa marked a powerful revival of her career.
Even with the controversy surrounding her, Rupali continues to be one of the highest-paid actresses on Indian television with a net worth estimated amid 20-25 crore. Media reports reveal to media that Rupali’s first paycheck was just 50 She has built her fortune through acting, brand endorsements, and other ventures.
The actress lives in a luxurious Mumbai bungalow, which features modern amenities and spacious bedrooms.
Notwithstanding her success, Rupali’s personal life has recently been in the spotlight due to a family dispute. Her stepdaughter, Esha Verma Ashwin’s daughter from his first marriage accused Rupali of breaking up their family and even threatening her life.

In response, Rupali filed a defamation suit worth 50 crore against Esha, with renowned lawyer Sanaa Raees Khan, known from Bigg Boss, representing her.
Esha has not yet responded to the legal proceedings.
