.Suriya’s Retro seals its release date with solid poster
Kollywood legend Suriya’s Retro: Love Laughter War is touted as one of the much
waited biggies of this year. Star heroine Pooja Hegde plays the female lead in this Karthik Subbaraj directorial.
The film first made a huge noise when the makers wrapped up the shoot in a record 3 months time.
Taking to social media, the makers announced that the film theatrically releases worldwide on May 1 as a May Day treat. The

“The ONE from May ONE,” read the announcement. The announcement poster features Suriya in a fierce avatar as he holds a weapon and appears ready for an intense war.
The film also features Shriya Saran in a special song. Prakash Raj and Mollywood actor Joju George essay prominent roles in this high-budget romantic action drama.
Santhosh Narayanan has composed the music for the movie, being produced by Suriya and Jyothika’s 2D Entertainment, in association with Kaarthekeyen Santhanam and Kalyan Subramanian’s Stone Bench Creations banner.
